仙台城本丸及び二ノ丸の藩主御殿や三ノ丸近辺の大身家臣の御殿建築について解説します。今回はそれぞれの御殿建築における領域や序列について考えながら概説し、仙台城全体の景観の法則性などにも言及します。また、東北諸藩の大名屋敷とも比較しながら解説します。
