日々我々の生活の身近にある土には大分けして砂と粘土があります。それぞれの土の物理的・工学的特性が地盤災害とどのようなつながりを持っているかを地盤災害の観点から見てみましょう。また、地盤災害の形態とそれに対する対策などを東北地域を中心としてともに考えてみたいと思います。
