欧米の住宅に比べて寿命が短いといわれる日本の住宅。長寿命建築の材料・構法を通して、「いいもの」とは何かを考え、「しっかり手入れをして」いくために必要な維持管理のしくみを学び、愛着をもって「長く大切に使う」ことの意義について建築生産の観点から一緒に考えてみたいと思います。
