宮城県美術館は平成28年で35周年を迎えました。その間に収集された作品（コレクション）の中から、東北にゆかりのある作家の、洋画と版画に焦点をあてる初の試みが「コレクション再発見」展です。この講座では、展覧会に出品される大正から現代までの、地域に根ざした作品の中から、代表的なものを紹介します。それが、様々な「再発見」へとつながる機会になればと思います。
