北欧デザイン人気に絡んで最近何かと話題のフィンランドですが、そこで話されているフィンランド語は、英語やフランス語といったほとんどのヨーロッパ語が属する「インド・ヨーロッパ語族」とは系統を異にするちょっとユニークな言語です。その興味深い特徴について、語学オタク的観点から語りたいと思います。
