Information for prospective international students

For admission to the Tohoku Institute of Technology as an international student, undergraduates are required to pass a special entrance examination for international students, while graduate students must pass an oral examination and interview in which they present for roughly 20 minutes on the content of their master’s thesis, research, or other educational activities. Contact the admissions and public relations department with any inquiries on information such as application periods or exam dates and requests for more information.

Students from universities overseas that have concluded exchange agreements with the Tohoku Institute of Technology who desire to study at the Tohoku Institute of Technology as international students on a short-term basis may apply to the President through their current universities.
