With the Department of Life Design established, we have stopped recruiting students for the Department of Industrial Design. The Department of Creative Design and the Department of Safely Reliable Life will succeed the Department of Industrial Design.

What Can You Design?

In the first and the second years, we give students fine education based on a design seminar by the teachers in charge of a small-sized class. In the second year, all the students are assigned to design seminars focusing on practical subjects. From the latter half of the second year, divided into three divisions, they have practical training reinforcing the development and presentation ability in each field. They acquire logical development ability and synthetic analytic ability. They also acquire planning ability by increasing hands-on study depending on the students’ nature.
