What Can You Study Majoring in Architecture?
The Graduate School of Architecture has five divisions in the masters degree program, and four divisions in the doctoral degree program. Architecture is based on magnificent unity between the human science and natural science. Architects have always striven to create architectural designs realizing the connection between society, nature, and living space. Our Division of Architecture includes fields of study which are fundamentals of architectural creativity, such as the history of art and culture, figurative design, living environments, urban environments, material science, and structural engineering. These courses are designed to provide students with both professional architectural skills and a strong sense of creativity. In order to obtain a masters degree, students have the option of writing a thesis or creating and presenting an architectural design.
